The recent move to T-180 chassis allows for independent front and rear steering for improved control on some of the more insane WRL courses.
Of course, it’s not an entirely proven design, and some racing outfits still prefer a conventional front-steer chassis. Racer Motors held out until the very last race of the season, but they were put in a bind when their only available chassis was irreparably damaged. As it turns out, it was a good move for them to finally adopt the T-180 spec, since it allowed them to take the finish in the final race of the series.
